Dürer @ Gemäldegalerie, and a last visit to Neue Nationalgalerie
/in All, Culture /by saschekSaw the Dürer exhibition in the Gemaeldegalerie just before it closes. Love Dürer every time I see one of his works. Today’s discovery: A putto walking on stilts! I mean… Really!
(Btw, I really like the sitting corners – new? Haven’t been here for a while.)
…and while I’m at it: Catching a last glimpse at the Neue Nationalgalerie (New National Gallery) before it closes down for renovation for several years. Will miss it, already looking forward to the reopening!

Die Toten Hosen – A Very Special Concert: “Welcome to Germany”

Under the title “Welcome to Germany”, the musicians reminded us of the exhibition “Entartete Musik” (“Degenerate Music”) 75 years ago in the Ehrenhof Düsseldorf, where the Tonhalle is located.
