Private View of Rembrandt’s Late Works (courtesy of Frieze) in one of my favorite museums, London’s National Gallery. I’ve always loved his fat old men with couperosic noses, and what a compilation this is! Plan enough time to enjoy the details.

 

A side note on exhibition design: If you want to keep the exhibition space free of text, hand out a printed mini-catalogue to every visitor – check. (Assuming the cost side got properly sorted out.) – Smart merch, too, print-on-demand plus framing, and selling souvenirs from the Rijksmuseum.
